Generate an Excel file for Brightway2

Tip

This is a preliminary step to simplify importing the datasets of the LCI DB for consumption in their current format. The use of the output file is described in section Set the global parameters to import the LCI DB into BW2.

Please download the macro-enabled workbook Merge_LCI_DB_Consumption_QC.xlsm, which contains two subroutines to generate an Excel file of the LCI DB for consumption in Québec compatible with Brightway2:

1. Merge the datasets of the LCI database for consumption in Québec into a single sheet.
2. Export the worksheet containing the datasets that will be imported into Brightway2.
